India is a beautiful country with beautiful landscapes , warm , caring to other nations. Supportive to others . Also rich in Art, culture, traditions , full of colour . Artistic , major creative talent . This is the perception it gives to the whole world too. India is also proud of its rich culture, heritage, traditions .
India is a very emotional and sensitive country, both in it’s dealings with its citizens and in it’s personal and internal communications. Intelligent , as is seen by the skill and education and intelligence of its people as India is a major exporter of Tech to the rest of the world as can also be seen by the achievements of Indians all across the world in different countries. It’s flexible and adapts fast to changes within itself in order to grow and progress. It’s Self talk with itself is also reaped in emotion, culture.
In the Moon chart all 6 planets are in the 1st house. India has an emotional connection with it’s Public, and vice versa and the governance creates an illusion through emotions to deal with the public/ play with their sentiments to turn things around in their favour.
My Observations:
First point of focus is that all planets are within the Rahu/ Ketu axis on the left of the chart ( so called Kalp Sarp Yog ) Since most of the planets are on the left , towards the effort side , it’s taken India a lot of initial years when progress was slow with lots of challenges , not too many changes happened , but later with lots of effort the results could be seen ( after the initial few years of delay ) with exponential growth which can be compared to any of the large nations.
Rahu in the first house
It denotes lots of illusions in it’s personality with major influence of the western culture. Indian culture has faced lots of challenges with a constant conflict amongst the youth over all decades , to ape the west. Indian religion and culture has gone through major transformations , different faces over the decades/ generations.
With Rahu in the personality , India has advanced in technology and is super confident in its projection of it’s image to the world. It has made a mark in the world. We are a self reliant nation unlike our neighbours like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka .
Rahu / illusions which also can be seen as ministers/ government play a major dominant role in the country. They have had a major influence in the path taken by the nation, as I would see the govt as having an illusionary effect on the Public.
Rahu aspecting the 5th house ( Sat/ mars also aspecting) talks about the rich entertainment industry , south or Bollywood or its different regions with the people’s craze for entertainment Industry. They literally idolise the Super stars.
Neptune in the 5th house reaffirms the strong Entertainment Industry in our country .
The effect of the Share market within the country and outside, the numerous scams and manipulations and scandals related to stock market , starting from the 1st big one , Harshad Mehta in 1992 and subsequently others . The attitude of Indians towards money changed after this incident , the Dasha was Venus / Venus/ Sat when the sensex rose 10 times, with Sat ultimately bringing the truth to light exposing the scam. The scams have continued over the years and many were during the Moon Dasha , and with the rahu aspect on the 5th house , creating illusions in the minds of the people, huge crashes in the share market affecting the economy in a big way.
Rahu aspecting the 9th house is again illusions and many faces of the religion , India’s obsession with its Religion and dharma , but never getting any satisfaction or fulfillment in this front. Its quest for researching more and learning more about its various religions and transformations continues.
Rahu with it’s 5 degrees will also give the effect of the 12th house , talks about the position India has made at the International level and it’s Diplomatic ties with the Leading powerful nations .
Ketu in the 7th house
Its always been a challenge for India to establish good relations with its immediate neighbours. Constant struggle with Pakistan and China, unrest in its borders, coordination issues.
Ur and mars in the 2nd house ( Gemini )
Uranus ensures that India gets wealth from it’s land it’s own resources. It naturally creates opportunities for growth and new Industries and areas to generate finances. The progress of India as a nation from not manufacturing anything to today into all areas be it technology or any manufacturing , has made India self reliant. Mars makes this focus full of aggressive energy ( fire and air element )
Ur and mars aspecting 8th house talks about the enriched knowledge in the occult sciences and new creation and research / focus in the area. But due to Mars and Uranus there are constant famines, floods , health related issues created ( water house , fire aspect )
Ur at 2 deg will also give the result of the 1st house. The nation will have a personality change , a new changed perspective/ personality to the world on a continuous basis. This has been seen over the years , and will be continued to be seen, with sudden image change and a new perspective of the world regarding our nation.
Mars , Jupiter in the Artha houses, and Jup ( sitting in 2nd ) aspect in the 10th and 2nd house talks about blessings and wisdom and lots of energy in creating wealth and growth. This can be seen in the upward trend and the economic growth form 1947 till date and will continue to give positive results. Jupiter presence has also ensured debts taken from other nations , but it has not been as a burden to the country.
The Karma houses are super active with 6 planets in the 3rd house, Ketu in the 7th and Neptune aspecting the 11th house. Shows tremendous effort in all areas of Industry, Social economic and political spheres and recognition to India as a nation, for its progress over the years .
However Jup in the 6th house ( with an average mood , with Venus Rashi and mercury house ) also talks about debts from other nations. But it also blesses the Health Industry and we have amazing doctors who people come from worldwide for treatment. Jupiter with it’s 25deg also affects the 7th house and helps India in it’s relations and position and power in the UN and it’s strong International relations. India is perciebed as a force to reckon with with the world having respect for the Nation also due to some leaders , like Indira Ganghi, Rajiv Gandhi , Manmohan Singh and now Mr Modi.
Its aspect in the 12th house also talks about Blessings of Jupiter to form good International ties and a growth in Import Export.
Both Jupiter and Mars ., being friendly planets are sitting in trine ( 5/9 ) axis to each other. This gives the chart tremendous strength and energy. Jupiter supports mars in all its courage, strength, action , energy, passion by providing wisdom and guidance. Therefore India has moved from a country which was dependant on others for everything to a Nation that is at par with any large world leader. Both in the Artha houses , adds to the growth and prosperity of the nation.
3rd house : 6 planets sitting in this house of effort is the major focus area in the chart. It talks about lots of mixed results from the house of communication, technology, marketing, courage, younger siblings. India has the capacity to face all trials with courage , the super Intelligent manforce, efforts of the govt, leaders, public , all coherently contribute to the courage of the Nation.
Sun and Saturn together talk about major challenges in the initial years after Independence and a lot of effort was required for India to reach where it has today. Struggles in the beginning / initial years did not see much growth or progress as Saturn is not happy in the Moon Rashi and sitting with Sun.
Constant tug of war between the Government ( governance ) and the Public ( but Saturn is combust ) and thus Sun takes precedence.
Sun with it’s 25deg also effects the 4th house , autocratic and strong governance , also aspecting the 10th house of governance. Government exploiting the resources of the Public ( 4th house ) for it’s own needs.
Also if we consider the Kaal sarp Dosaha , then anticlockwise , 3rd house means lot of efforts and initally for a few years a lot of struggle and obstacles are seen with the Sun Saturn conjunction where not much results or progress was seen. The progress and growth happened after a few years and India grew in all spheres with the influence of Mercury, Venus after the initial struggle due to the Kaal sarp Dosh. Lots of Efforts in the beginning will move towards good Karma as we progress as a nation.
Mercury with its Intelligence and analytical skills talks about the effort made by its intelligent work force to reach where it has reached today ,in the field of technology, science, space, import export and other manufacturing businesses. Communication of the nation to the world was that of an Intelligent and logical brains in the nation.
Because of Saturn ( not good mood, Moon Rashi and sitting with Sun ) this has taken almost 15 to 20 years after independence for the progress to be seen. There were lots of problems in health, education. Social, economics, and other sectors initially.
3rd house also talks about effort of the nation in helping and supporting its younger ( brothers ) like Bangladesh / Sri Lanka in their times of need.
Sun influence can be seen in the communication , courage in all areas of growth in areas of communication , writing , import export , technology.
Sun with 27 deg is also affecting the 4th house , its aspect on the 10th house talks about government dominance internally as well as in the governance/ govt authority .
With the efforts house being influenced by 6 planets, the results are bound to come gradually as can be seen in the status and it’s presence in the world today. Pluto has ensured major transformations in the areas of technology, marketing, writing, travel, import export etc.
Because of the presence of Moon , Venus , Mercury in the 3rd house , India has become self reliant . as is seen but has also seen challenges and ups and downs in the all the areas in the years since Independence.

Venus and Moon in the 3rd house in a good mood talks about very strong female authority (courage) / in governance which has affected the country. ( second longest serving PM in the country ) Also the country has seen courageous woman leaders and dominance of strong women leaders in all spheres , be it politics, sports , Business etc.
Mercury MD from 1965 to 1982 Indira Gandhi’s governance and the growth and major reforms in the country during her governance during 1967-68 when major reforms were seen. India Dasha was Mer/ Mer with PD of Mars, Rahu and Jupiter ( aspecting 10, 12, 2 ) over the years , saw a lot of reforms, economic growth, and prosperity in all areas of Industry , innovation , strategy, creating new ideas , were seen during this period.

Rahu is Diplomatic and the Emergency was a diplomatic strategy to suppress the opposition. Mercury is in the Pushya Nakshatra of Shani ( public ) Rahu is in Kritika Nakshatra ruled by Sun. Both were transiting ( sun and Saturn are in Conjunction and were I conjunction during transit in Gemini. ) When emergency was declared , Rahu was transiting in the 7th house and Ketu in 2nd , both debilitated. Mercury was transiting in the 1st house with Ketu, whose nakshatra lord is Sun. Therefore Rahu influenced mercury and the Sun / Sat Conjunction and their activation due to their Lordships , craeted havoc leading to the decison of declaring emergency.
Sun is the King , it’s clash ( autocratic ) with the public.
Role of a lady( Venus) and Rahu energies , tendency to be autocratic. Mercury is communication. Saturn is Public, so suppression of public and Human rights violation with the press censored , govt crackdown. These together made her , The PM, take such a decision.
Indira Gandhi was also undergoing Antardasha of Rahu and mercury too , in Saturn MahaDasha.
Moon MD Sep 2015 to Sep 2025
Moon associated with Money , and the waxing and waning of the moon directly influencing the flow of money has given rise to a lot of scams during the Moon MD and economic reforms introduced which led to the (rise ) and fall of the economy.
Demonetisation in 8 nov 2016 Mo, Mar, Me, Su ,Pran dasha Mer/ ke / Ve
Dasha was Moon, in Moon Rashi, too much of water influence, waxing and waning, ups and downs with Mars took drastic, aggressive and arrogant decision , where the jolt was felt all across the nation , maybe even irrational ( sitting in 2nd house ) regarding economy, aspecting the 8th house , so was irrational and caused fear and havoc in the country. Mercury is again economy and finances as the decision was clearly related to finance , strategy, Sun Sookshma dasha, is Modi taking charge and almost autocratic, authoritative and in my mind completely selfish decision ,took such a vital decision for the country leading to drastic results. It wiped out 85% of India’s currency overnight, crippling effects both short term and long term.
Moon Rahu: feb 2017 to aug 2018
Moon rahu Dasha till Aug 2018. Rahu is illusions and Moon ruling over the mind , means hallucinations and the puts the mind’s focus on illusions rather than reality. With the planet sitting in the 3rd house and with Rahu created illusions even in the minds of the ruling government, that drastic measures would work and thus came GST. Mars had already played havoc during the Demonetisation which was in 2016.

Mercury Pran dasha on that day reaffirmed the major financial strategy was introduced .
During Corona Pandemic and the lockdown ( Mar 2020 onwards ) , India was in Moon Maha dasha, Sat AD, and Mercury PD all sitting in Moon Rashi. Moon is in Shani Nakshatra Pushya , Mercury is in Shani Nakshatra Pushya and Shani is in Mercury Nakshatra Ashlesha . Each played a role in the lockdown, with Shani as the public, Moon playing on the minds and Mercury as the communication. With all planets within the 180 deg axis of Rahu Ketu , the lockdown probably happened.
In the Moon Maha dasha there has been tremendous focus on all occult and healing sciences, ( aspect on 9th ) Moon with 3 deg also aspects the 8th house. There is also an emerging trend of lots of new age / youngsters coming into this field and the occult sciences are being perceived differently as it is now projected in a new modern light , with a gradual change in the old beliefs ( uranus aspect ) The fresh perspective of these occult and healing sciences is seen.
Current Mo/ Me/ Ju/ Ve/ Ve, PRAN D Su, Moon, Mars shows that India is coming out of the Pandemic situation. Jupiter in the 6th house talks about vaccination being done with full focus and Venus talks about happiness, luxury and growth.
Future : Moon MD is till sep 2025. Mars MD will bring about some economic reforms and the effect of Demonitisation will gradually reduce and India should take aggressive measures towards economic growth and will strengthen the Indian Economy. Mars with Rahu and Jupiter AD will show India as a Diplomatic and powerful Nation in the International arena.
There is also a possibility of a younger new leader , with Mars sitting with Uranus , someone with very high energy and fast decision taker who would take the nation to greater heights. Mars in the Artha house , aspecting 5th house ( probability of share market progress/ entertainment industry again regaining it’s glory/ and India emerging proud as a nation ) Mars and Uranus also aspecting the 9th house of luck and blessings and long distance travel ( International ) could mean a lot of International associations in the years to come. The connection to the 12th house is apparent as the Rashi lord of 12th hosue , mars is aspecting the 9th house from the 2nd. Clear connection of 9th and 12th houses.
Rahu MD from 2032 to 2050 will bring about major changes in the way they world looks at India. Rahu in the first house will bring about a lot of illusionary personality changes for India and will probably bring a new dimension the the Personality. India will be focussed on acquiring wealth , confidence , charm and will improve Diplomatic ties with the World , Focus on being courageous, brave and will take risks. The nation may transform to having an unconventional take on culture , traditions. It will also help win over enemies but may change friendships/ partnerships with nations frequently. There may be an unhealthy constitution giving rise to health related issues.
